CONSULTING

Many organisations are putting a spotlight on the returns they are getting from their property portfolio. Before action can be taken to improve performance they must acquire the capability to capture the right information at the right level of detail. Then they must be able to follow through with management actions.

The Pythagoras executives have been responsible for significant performance improvements in large property portfolios and can therefore provide strategic advice to clients facing the same or similar issues. The Pythagoras Professional Services consultants specialise in supporting the strategic intent with practical proposals for the necessary information management processes and systems.


DATA COLLECTION

Setting up new information management processes and systems requires collecting, quality checking and inputting data. This data includes leases, budgets, inventory, employees etc. etc. – the list can seem endless and daunting.

The Pythagoras Professional Services consultants are experienced in advising clients on how to pull this information together and where appropriate can build interfaces to existing data sources or will load the data directly to the systems.

In practice, many clients decide to take a combination of training and ‘hands on’ time from the PPS consultants. This provides a particularly good environment for the client’ staff to learn all about the processes and systems while the foundations are being built.


DEVELOPMENT & INTEGRATION

Property & facilities information is derived from a number of sources and is also used in other parts of the organisation. Therefore, it is very likely that some data interfaces will need to be built. For example, a human resources system may supply the people related information and/or the usage cross charge information will be required by the financial systems. Whatever the client’s interface requirements, it is likely that either the interface has already been built or that the Pythagoras software engineers have the relevant experience.

It is not our policy to pretend that ‘one size fits all’. We do understand that the right packaged application may not exist or that the Facility® software does not have all the right functionality. Therefore we also build new applications for clients or enhance the existing functionality of the Facility® software if clients require it.

Pythagoras is committed, where appropriate, to meeting the needs of international data interchange standards such as IFC and PISCES.
